The Civano Speakers Series kicked off in January 2005 in the heart of Civano—the neighborhood center. The monthly series offers diverse and intelligent general interest lectures, readings, and discussions, preceded by the Civano soup/salad supper. View full calendar. Each session of the lecture—which includes discussion and is open to all neighbors and their guests—is held at the Civano Activity Center on the third Sunday of each month, unless otherwise noted. Sessions follow the Civano Potluck, which begin at 5:30 p.m. The lectures themselves begin at 6:30 p.m., and last about one hour, including open discussions.
